Guide to Curling
Learn the Game

Curling, although an Olympic sport, is a social sport that is easily learned and can be played and enjoyed by men and women, young and old. The best way to learn the game is to come out and play which you can do either by coming to an Open House or by participating in a Rent and Curl at our Club.

While the main object of the game is to determine the relative skill of the players, the spirit of the game of curling demands good sportsmanship, and honorable conduct both on and off the ice.

While you are here, you can learn more information on the game by visiting the following links that we have found helpful:

As we mentioned above, the best way to learn is to get out and play the game. If you can't make it to our club, chances are there is a club near you. The Kansas City Curling Club created a nice map with USA Curling Clubs shown. In the Illinois area, please visit the Illinois Curling Association.
